Located in the historic West Shore train station, Hudson Taco is a vibrant Mexican eatery that shares its space with Pizza Shop. The restaurant offers an eclectic menu featuring Mexican street food made with locally sourced ingredients from farms, wineries, and cheesemakers. Diners can enjoy their meal on the back patio while taking in panoramic views of the Hudson River. The restaurant also boasts an enclosed back patio and serves up unique beverages like aMAIZing Corn Lager from Newburgh Brewing Company.

This was such a fun and scrumptious meal! The taco fillings were glazed with all sorts of flavors...some savory and some sweet. Everything we ordered got better and better as they were brought out. I recommend you taste it all!

Hudson Taco is an excellent restaurant located right in the Hudson Valley. This establishment is very conveniently located with ample parking available. Next door there’s an Ice cream and pizza shop. Definitely have to try those next time I’m in the area. The ambiance is stunning with a modern home like feel. Sitting on the back porch area allows breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the train track right below the restaurant. Staff are very attentive and friendly! They explained how the ordering process worked since it was our first time here. Food was delicious and fresh, it’s very affordable as well! On the other hand, It’s usually packed and they don’t take reservations so prepare to wait on the weekends. Definitely stop by if wanting to try yummy tacos and pleasurable atmosphere!!

Anniversary Dinner. 2 of us for dinner on Saturday night. There was a 40 minute wait. Service was great once we got our table. Our items came out at a nice pace so everything didn't come at once. Food was delicious. We ordered appetizers, drinks and tacos and sides. Highly recommend

First time coming here. Came here after hiking. Service was decent. Food was the bomb! Nice view. They provide chips with unlimited refill with gigantic 3 dips. Gotta check out their taco of the day, the day I went was lobster taco, it was really delicious. Will definitely come back again

This place was fantastic. The menu was interesting and relatively diverse (within tacos). The tacos were reasonably priced and tasty. The day we were there the (really good) waiter recommend the ribs special. I will never forget those ribs. They were in a hot and sweet sauce that I could have drank out of a cup. There was plenty of things on the menu besides tacos too. The empanada was the best I ever had (even better than my own). We also got to sit outside on a beautiful summer day and had a great view of the river.

I enjoyed everything about this place. The music was the best eclectic playlist I’ve heard in a long time. Our server was incredible. She listened to our dietary restrictions and made the best suggestions based off what they were. Everything (but the apple pie) was incredibly delicious. The street corn was so yummy. We will definitely visit again.

I absolutely love this place. The drinks are good the tacos even better and the maduros with the plantain aioli was amazing. Happy hour prices are good, the crowd is energetic, music is good with great salsa and you will leave with a very full stomach and a smile on your face

Came here with my husband for our first wedding anniversary. I passed on the "white linen" type restaurant because I love to eat! First things first, The food is delicious. We were seated quickly, and our food came out quickly. The views are beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. Great service. The only con, in my personal opinion is the loud music. Now please, Hear me out. I love music and they played great music, but I felt it was bit too loud to the point where I could barely make out what the waitress was saying. Between the noise of the crowded restaurant and the music is was a bit too much. It was difficult to have conversation with my husband because I felt like I couldn't always hear what he was saying. Overall, I enjoyed it and I would definitely come back again.

Incredible food and drinks! Went with my Fiancé and friends, and we had a wonderful time. The view is beautiful. The place was very busy when we went Saturday night. Park in the lower parking lot if not on the street.

Great place to eat - it has good food and a fantastic view. The tacos are $3-$4 each and come in fun flavors (Korean short rib, citrus shrimp, etc).We sat outside on the spacious patio (the train did pass by once for several minutes). Would definitely return and recommend a visit here.

Great spot on the river... creative drinks, great margaritas, and food is pretty good, but also not expensive! Gets very crowded, but service was great! I had the Deadliest Catch bowl, and some great beverages!

Absolutely love this restaurant. This is our go to place in Newburgh. Food is always great and they make it super fast. If you are local or visiting Hudson Valley I highly recommend Hudson Taco!

Our experience today was phenomenal. From the minute we walked in to the bustling bar area we knew we were in for a treat. The host, Dwayne, and our server, Evelyn, were excellent! Great conversations, great space, Hudson River views and all! The Guac, Street Corn, Margarita, Empanadas, and Tacos were tremendous! We had the Battered Fried Fish Taco, Pork Belly, Korean BBQ, Special Shrimp PoBoy — the Korean BBQ with the Asian Slaw was a show stopper! We will be back!!! Thanks for a great lunch!

Great service and great attention to detail with everything. The tacos were overwhelming with flavor and the drinks very carefully made. They are very well organized and staff expertly trained. Everything was explaining with detail….most important…service with a smile. Definetly with a try.

It is my absolute favorite ❤️ everything from the food, drinks, staff friendliness is outstanding. Definitely a must do, if you love margaritas and tacos!

Alondra L — Google review

The food was ok but not great. But the low stars came from the dirty dishes. We got a fork that had obviously not been washed and there was stuff floating in the water bottle. We got the Asian tuna taco, the baja fish, Korean bbq and lobster tacos with the half chicken and street corn. The asian taco was just there it had nothing really to say about it, and tasted like plain air. The lobster was a complete waste of money it was just a bunch of tempura. The Baja fish was at least a traditional fried fish taco. The Korean bbq was by far the best, it had some actual flavor. The chicken and street corn were good but when you come for tacos it is not what you are wanting.

Had a business meeting here today with delicious food, stunning presentation and wow river views. The guacamole had the perfect tanginess, the octopus had a surprising charred smokiness to it, the street corn was generously topped with queso and spices and the tuna poke bowl with quinoa was super refreshing.LOVED it and will be back soon!

Great, super, amazing.. where do we start?Amazing tacos. We had a variety of amazing tacos and a cauliflower bowl, but I think the favorite was the General Tso. I loved the Baja the most. The elote was also a hit The guac with crab meats was good too! The drinks were average, nothing to brag about, none the less, good enough. The strawberry ice cream sandwich was 👌.The view of the Hudson is beautiful with passing of boats. One thing that I have to comment on, that was disappointing, was the cleanliness of the restroom.Having traveled a distance, you have no choice but to use them. Im glad we waited until after we ate because we may have left had we gone in there first.

I had been hearing about this place for three years but it was always so crowded we never went in. Finally tried it for lunch and then dinner in the same week because it was so good. The tacos are inventive and delicious, but the side dishes are truly amazing. The plantains with garlic aioli are life changing as is the frijoles with bacon - and I lived in Central America for five years - this is some of the best I’ve ever had. Such a cool vibe and beautiful views of the Hudson River. Oh and the co*cktails are also amazing. Try the Aguachile margarita with their homemade tajin/togarashi mashup on the rim. Perfection. Finally the desserts are not just an after thought but are as impressive as all of their other offerings!

I thoroughly enjoyed eating lunch at this place with two friends. Being my first time, the waitress did a great job explaining the ordering process. The food was very delicious and tasty. A wide variety of items with a heavy focus on seafood items. I will definitely return to this place.

Great great great restaurant for price point ambience the service. The energy of the place is always so electric. Of course I ate all the tacos the slide to take photos. I have a couple. But I’m gonna say it’s comparable to one of the very infamous taco spice call bar taco what i must say about this location near the water clean the service is always consistently excellent service or charismatic, the great hidden treasure it

Man oh Man I can’t wait to visit again! Hudson Taco is my new favorite spot! If there’s a such thing as Taco & co*cktail Bliss you’re at the right place! So many options to choose from, and Everything was absolutely Delish….We had a three hour drive and the food was worth every second we had to wait in traffic 😬 Every time we’re in town we’re planning to visit HT! Thanks guys for such a memorable experience! See you again soon!

I had heard good things and were finally in town and had to check it out. We were seated after a short wait at a busy Saturday lunchtime. We enjoyed our apps, tacos and co*cktails. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will go back again soon I hope!

Love the vibe! Food was delicious. Pork belly taco was my favorite. I could've made a meal out of the tomato avocado salsa under the octopus. It was so tasty!

What a great place. If you like Bartaco in Port Chester, you’ll absolutely love Hudson Taco. It’s similar in style. The food and drinks are great and it’s right on the Hudson River. We loved the Women of Agave tequila flight and the tuna taco lettuce wrap and pork belly taco (as well as the other selections) were quite tasty.
