What is PointClickCare cna? ›

Point of Care is a mobile-enabled app that runs on wall-mounted kiosks or mobile devices that enables care staff to document activities of daily living at or near the point of care to help improve accuracy and timeliness of documentation.

URL: https://login.pointclickcare.com. Use the same URL for all devices (laptop, computers, tablets).

POC charting allows CNAs to fill out a patient's medical chart in real-time, near the area that care is delivered. POC testing refers to any screenings or tests that deliver immediate results after being conducted on a patient.

The critical difference between a PCA and a CNA is that CNAs have more medical training than PCAs and can do more medically complex tasks. However, the benefit of a PCA is that it can provide primary care quickly, enabling you to easily start providing a loved one with care and support as soon as possible.

Patient care technicians can expect to perform many of the same functions as CNAs on a daily basis. However, they have more advanced medical training that also allows them to perform procedures like inserting catheters, removing stitches or staples, or operating more advanced medical monitoring equipment.
