First half of this tie brings us another K-pop group. This one I'm barely familiar with though. The title track sounds pretty good, it's got a 90s/00s throwback feel to it.

Most of the voting period I was like 'This is a bit low of a placement for SUNMI' but then realized...
The previews sound very pleasant and retro, really match the album cover.

Florrie drops thirty spots compared to last month but still manages to chart. That's all I can muster up for this one.

Another June album reappearance, this time it's Megan who charted lower than Florrie last month but here ended up ahead of her by one spot and one point. Her music is not for me but this artwork is quite a serve.

And more FL representation with an EP by a Colombian artist who tricked me it was a duo until I actually listened. It's a rather nice little synthy, pop-rock affair. A bit interesting to point out is that I enjoyed each song more than the previous one.

Another reappearing album. Kinda funny that Camila charted the lowest out of the three June albums we've had so far but managed to rank the highest of the three here. The album title and cover suggest something edgy but the songs I've heard not much at all.

Only 10 albums tonight. The forum started to lag a bit and I think I've stared at my PC screen long enough for today.

Also fans of alt pop especially quirky vocals should give Alex Winston a listen!

To quote her wiki page...
Carvajal came up with the concept of Elsa y Elmar in 2012 during her time in Boston at the Berklee School of Music. In an interview with Colombia's W Radio, Carvajal explained that she liked the idea of being accompanied rather than being a solo star, and that the people who surrounded her and supported her music were her "sea" – the name "Elmar" is a play on "el mar", meaning "the sea" in Spanish.
I made the same mistake when I first came across her music ddd.

She said "the

So I just noticed that I mistakenly attributed someone's 10 points to a wrong album which made another one shoot up the charts ff but luckily it didn't affect the positions of albums which have been revealed so far.
Continuing imminently.

Finally a new July release. And one I know nothing about. Based on the previews, it sounds extremely PJ-baity with those ~euphoric~ type of synths. I'm very unimpressed and tired of that sound to be honest.

Another EP to chart in the top 30 is by Juliana Madrid, a name I've defintiely seen before but am generally unfamiliar with. These songs sounds nice in a singer-songwriter way from what I've heard.

This is the album with most voters so far and we won't be seeing another with 6 voters until top 15. As a last-minute suggestion, this album by a British artist it did pretty well. @soratami called it 'ominous, atmospheric and droney electropop' which is a very good description but unfortunately a quick run through the songs, cool production aside, didn't intrigue me enough to check it out in full.

And more FL representation with a Mexican band Playa Limbo. I was supposed to check this out but ran out of time. It sounds pretty good with a poppy, disco-adjacent yet chill summery vibe.
