Who can use call a ride in St. Louis? ›

Metro Call‑A‑Ride service is available, with advance reservations, to both the general public and to persons whose disabilities prevent them from using the accessible fixed-route transit services (MetroLink and MetroBus). You'll share your ride with other passengers in modern, wheelchair- accessible vehicles.

Call 314.982. 1505 (or Relay Missouri at 711 if hearing impaired) to book your trip on Metro Call‑A‑Ride. The reservation lines are answered every day, including holidays, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You must have the following information ready: Passenger's full name, home address and phone number.

The indigenous people in the area built numerous temple and residential earthwork mounds on both sides of the Mississippi River. Cahokia Mounds being the regional center. The many major earthworks within St. Louis boundaries earned the the city the nickname "Mound City".

MetroLink and MetroBus

Metro's light-rail network MetroLink has been called one of the best mass transit systems in the country. The rail system offers multiple lines and stops through St. Louis County and City and the Metro East, stopping at or near many of St. Louis attractions.

Transportation is available to Missourians age 60 or older and adults with disabilities age 18-59 years of age through the local area agencies on aging (AAAs). The AAAs provide different forms of transportation depending on what is available in their local areas.
